Saucon Webinars: Helping Fleets with Efficiency

Jun 2, 2026

Saucon continues to expand its commitment to the passenger transportation industry with a new series of expert-led webinars hosted by Mike McDonal, Director of Regulatory Compliance and Industry Relations.

Scheduled every other month, these sessions will explore the operational, safety, and compliance challenges facing today’s motorcoach and fleet operators. Drawing on more than 42 years of industry experience, Mike delivers practical guidance designed to help companies operate more efficiently, stay compliant, and strengthen overall performance.

The first webinar of the year, “How to Use Saucon Telematics in Developing a Driver Performance Program,” took place in January and was fully booked. The session explored how telematics data can support the development and implementation of an effective driver performance program within fleet operations.

The 2nd session took place on March 24th, focusing on the six-phase Safety Management Cycle investigative process used by the FMCSA and other regulatory agencies to identify unsafe patterns and operational gaps. Mike walked through each phase of the cycle and highlighted solutions that can help simplify processes, strengthen compliance, and reduce administrative burden.

The 3rd session took place on May 19th, focusing on The Finer Points of Hours of Service. Mike dove into the details of HOS to include exemptions, personal conveyance, adverse conditions, and more.

The next session, taking place on July 21st, focuses on adopting Telematics in your Marketing Plan. This webinar will review all the ways telematics can be used in your traditional and not-so-traditional marketing plans. Register Here
